Making way for knowledge.
Transforming lives through education and contributing to social mobility - that's the purpose of Samba Educa, a non-profit association that runs Pre-Vestibular courses in Mangueira and Xerém (RJ). The goal is to increase its student base, offer more courses and expand its digital and physical operations, benefiting more teenagers and young people in Rio and Brazil.
In order to communicate better with current and future students and potential investors, we needed a branding project that expressed our purpose. Based on the strategy, we built a new visual and verbal identity for the brand.

Awards
The project won a double award in the Brand Strategy for small and medium-sized companies category at the 2024 Brazilian Design Awards (BDA):
- Gold medal by popular vote
- Bronze medal by the specialized jury
"To build the visual identity, the inspiration, of course, was samba, and its various elements and manifestations: the contrast between the melodic lines, the strings of the cavaquinho, the circular structure of the pandeiro and the sinuous movements of the dance. Serpentine and confetti were the shapes chosen as the basis for the personalized lettering created especially for the brand, conveying energy and vitality."
