La Carioca
Latin flavors, Carioca identity.
Opened in 2011, La Carioca was one of the first cevicherias in Rio de Janeiro. In the best carioca style, the Peruvian ceviche landed in charming restaurants/bars in Jardim Botanico and Ipanema. Jardim Botânico and Ipanema, arriving in 2019 on the Leblon waterfront with the La Carioca en La Playa kiosk.
Always creating with total freedom, our participation began with the setting, which was developed in partnership with architects Anna Backhauser and Eliane Fachetti. In addition to the setting, which used wood and rustic materials to create a very unpretentious and cozy atmosphere, we created the visual identity using Andean themes and a pattern created by fashion designer Isabela Capeto.

The house's flagship fish, the namorado, became the brand's big star. For the cevicheria's online and offline branding, we also designed signs, menus and all the supporting material.

The craft beers produced by the house were given personalized labels and a six pack. The placemats have had Peruvian poems printed on them to make the Latin gastronomic experience even more enriching for customers.
