Prêmio Isabel Salgado 2024

Fostering social transformation through sport

Maria Isabel Salgado, known as Isabel do Vôlei, was one of Brazil's most prominent athletes. Known for her protagonism beyond the court, she always sought to connect volleyball with important social causes. To honor this legacy, her daughter, fellow athlete Maria Clara Salgado, joined forces with the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) to create the Isabel Salgado Award.

The initiative focuses on athletes, former athletes, or social entrepreneurs from across Brazil who have social projects that include volleyball in their activities. In addition to fostering social development, the award aims to inspire athletes to get involved in impactful causes.

We also created the video manifesto. "It needed to be powerful, conveying the message that, yes, it is possible to transform through sport. And that athletes and former athletes with social projects can dream, realize, and drive. Go further."
